14th Annual Production Sale

Our spring bulls are weaned around October 15th. From there they enter the Hould feedlot in Malta and are fed a high roughage ration that will allow them to develop and mature at a moderate rate. We don't believe in pushing them for high gains. We strive for an average group gain of 3.5 lb daily gain. We want them to leave the feedlot and sale in their working clothes - ready to go to work for you. We want our bulls to cover your cows without losing large amounts of weight and wearing out.

Our fall bulls are weaned around May 1st and turned out on grass. When the grass runs short, they are supplemented with alfalfa/grass hay and a custom distiller grains ration formulated by Westfeeds in Chester, MT until they head to Hould Feedlot in Malta, MT around October 15th.
